Transit without visa (TWOV) A transit alien traveling without a nonimmigrant visa under section 233 of the INA. An alien admitted under agreements with a transportation line, which guarantees his immediate and continuous passage to a foreign destination. Translation The copy made in one language of what has been written, or spoken in another. Transmission Civil law. The right which heirs or legatees may have of passing to their successors, the inheritance or legacy to which they were entitled, if they happen to die without having exercised their rights. Transmittal form Form required in certain courts for transmitting documents for filing. Transportation Punishment.
