Patriot Act

The "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism (USA PATRIOT ACT) Act" of 2001 was adopted by the US Senate on the 24th of October of the said year as a result of 9/11.

Tools
The Massachusetts act of assembly provided that "the tools of any debtor necessary for his trade and occupation, should be exempted from execution," was held to designate those implements which are commonly used by the hand of one man, in some manual labor necessary for his subsistence.
