NegationDenial. Two negations are construed to mean one affirmation. RELATED TERMS-------------------------------------- Denial Pleading. To traverse the statement of the opposite party a defence. Negative averment Pleading, evidence. An averment in some of the pleadings in a case in which a negative is asserted. Negative condition Contracts, wills.
