Mala praxis
Mala praxisCriminal law. A Latin expression, to signify bad or unskilful practice in a physician or other professional person, as a midwife, whereby the health of the patient is injured. RELATED TERMS-------------------------------------- Criminal Relating to, or having the character of crime Law A rule or body of rules of conduct inherent in human nature and essential to or binding upon human society. The learned profession that is mastered by graduate study in a law school and that is responsible for the judicial system. Expression The term or use of language employed to explain a thing. Practice The form, manner and order of conducting and carrying on suits or prosecutions in the courts through their various stages, according, to the principles of law, and the rules laid down by the respective courts. Physician One lawfully engaged in the practice of medicine. Person This word is applied to men, women and children, who are called natural persons. Midwife Medical jurisprudence. A woman who practices midwifery; a woman who pursues the business of an account. Health "1) Freedom from pain or sickness; the most perfect state of animal life. It may be defined, the natural agreement and concordant dispositions of the parts of the living body. 2) Public health is an object of the utmost importance and has attracted the attention of the national and state legislatures. He who makes a bill of exchange is called the drawer, and frequently in common parlance and in books of Reports we find the word drawer inaccurately applied to the maker of a promissory note.
