Freight

FreightMaritim law, contracts. The sum agreed on for the hire of a ship, entirely or in part, for the carriage of goods from one port to another; note; but in, its more extensive sense it is applied to all rewards or compensation paid for the use of ships.

Secondly, Locatio operis, or the hire of the labor and services of the hirer, for a compensation to be paid by the letter.
Ship
This word, in its most enlarged sense, signifies a vessel employed in navigation; for example, the terms the ship's papers, the ship's hushand, shipwreck, and the like, are employed whether the vessel referred to be a brig, a sloop, or a three-masted vessel.

Estates, convention, practice. The fourth part of a fine of lands: it is an abstract of the writ of covenant and concord, and is only a, doequet taken by the chirographer, from which he draws up the indenture. It is sometimes taken in the old books for the concord.

But since the introduction of certain modern conveyances, by which an estate of freehold may be created without livery of seisin, this description is not sufficient.

A person who is the owner of a freehold estate.
Freeman
One who is in the enjoyment of the right to do whatever he pleases, not forbidden by law. One in the possession of the civil rights enjoyed by, the people generally.
