Certified copyA copy of the document contained in the court file. it includes a stamped seal confirming that the copy is indeed a true and correct copy of the document contained in the court file. RELATED TERMS-------------------------------------- Copy A copy is a true transcript of an original writing. Court A body in government to which the administration of justice is delegated. File To personally deliver a document to a clerk of a court so that the document can be included in the official records of a case.
