Bribery

BriberyTo offer money in exchange for favorite treatment or to compel or influence some action. Official (government employee or elected official) bribery involves a promise for acting or withholding some official act. Official bribery (Corruption) is unlawful in most cultures. Commercial Bribery is known as "facilitating payments" in some cultures and is not a crime in most cultures, although it often is against the organization's policies and procedures.
