Baltic exchange

Baltic exchangeEstablished in 1744, the Baltic Exchange is the world's oldest shipping market. A large part of the world's open market bulk cargo chartering is negotiated by some members of the Baltic Exchange and much of the world's sale and purchase business is transacted through its brokers. It publishes a daily dry cargo index that is the basis of the freight futures market and is used in order to hedge against movements in freight rates.

"Purchase is called the possession of lands or tenements that a man hath by his own deed or agreement, unto which possession he cometh, not by title of descent from any of his ancestors or cousins, but by his own deed."
Freight
Maritim law, contracts. The sum agreed on for the hire of a ship, entirely or in part, for the carriage of goods from one port to another; note; but in, its more extensive sense it is applied to all rewards or compensation paid for the use of ships.
Order
An instruction rightfully given by someone superior in hyerarchy. Also, a social state of civil coexistance without widespread public violence.
