Bait and switchIn consumer fraud, advertising a low cost item and then steering the customer to a higher priced item when they come to buy, claiming the low priced item was "sold out."

Contracts, torts. Any trick or artifice employed by one person to induce another to fall into an error, or to detain him in it, so that he may make an agreement contrary to his interest.
