AscendantsThose from whom a person is descended, or from whom he derives his birth, however remote they may be. RELATED TERMS-------------------------------------- Person This word is applied to men, women and children, who are called natural persons. Birth The act of being wholly brought into the world. The whole body must be detached from that of the mother, in order to make the birth complete. Remote At a distance; afar off, not immediate.
