Administrative agencies

Administrative agenciesAgencies created by the legislative branch of government to administer laws pertaining to specific areas such as taxes, transportation, and labor.

In democratic countries, taxes are theoretically legitimized by the majority's will via laws enacted by a representative parliament, but the fundamental flaw remains that the taxed citizen has not been invited to negotiate the tax individually.
Transportation
Punishment. In the English law, this punishment is inflicted by virtue of sundry statutes; it was unknown to the common law. 2 H. Bl. 223. It is a part of the judgment or sentence of the court, that the party shall be transported or sent into exile.
